[i had the idea of a closing track and i enjoyed the depth of meaning in the title. programmed the drums and tracked all of the guitars and vocals on top of it and before i took it to Adam i realized that it was faster than i wanted so i reprogrammed the drums and recorded everything over again. went over to Adam's one day and tracked the drums and vocals and all but one guitar solo. my wah pedal died and when i pulled out my other one it happened to be non-operational as well. after the vintage replacement arrived in the mail i had Adam throw down the last solo and ran it back home to Alex.]
lyrics
i've come to see this could be the one for me
and that one and one and one is three
did i look away from you or did you pull away from me?
i couldn't see you here with me unless you're free
but i couldn't be the one to lead
well i guess sometimes it's just the way it tends to be
that's how we go down to the sea
swim til we grow; maybe find peace
i leave you with flowers
spirals around while it takes you away
shiva not only destroys her
that's how we go down to the sea
swim til we grow maybe find peace
that's how we go down to the sea
swim til we grow maybe find peace
that's how we go down to the sea
swim til we grow maybe find peace
that's how we go down to the sea
swim til we grow maybe find peace
