[the second dedicated session for the album. i didn't want to use a click track (or programmed drums) so we used 3 tracks of a lighter tapping on a grinder and ditched a conventional drum set for layers of snare. this features the only guitar solo that i decided to record myself (during the modern sessions)]
lyrics
sleepwalk into tomorrow
comes with the rhythm, gonna let it go
oh boy
all i've had i've had to borrow
comes with the rhythm gonna let it go;
i'm gonna let it be;
i'm gonna let it shine <yeah>
when it comes time, it will define you;
it's all the same when it's when we die
take time to get away and i don't wanna go and i don't wanna stay
oh boy
oh
make plans, but now we're wasted
kicked with the spur and we'll let it go
and if you want to get away and i don't wanna go and i don't wanna stay
oh boy
oh
in time the ones will find you
it's always best when we do not try
playtime, i don't wanna play and i don't wanna go and i don't wanna stay
oh boy
oh
we make plans, but now we'll break it
and it's time to let it go
and if you want to get away and i don't wanna go and i don't wanna stay
oh boy
oh
backslide into tomorrow
comes with the rhythm; gonna let it go
oh boy
