[this was a break from solo recordings. one night i had my acoustic guitar over at the force dwelling and mentioned how a new song might sound interesting with some violin. Jenée grabbed hers and the rest is history. she totally felt the vibe and came up with most of the parts on the fly a couple of weeks later. a few months later during a holiday party at a friend's house (where everybody there was playing whatever they could) i met another musician vacationing from boston and we decided to collaborate when we both returned north. while looking through possibilities i happened to grab this one. a couple of weeks later he spit fire on what would become the forebearer of the album's concept]
